Big Sur International Marathon: Scenic Views & Tough Terrains

The Big Sur International Marathon is one of the most popular running events globally. It takes place every year and attracts runners from all over the globe.

This year, the marathon will be held on 24th April. The race starts south of Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park and continues along Highway 1, finishing at the Crossroads Shopping Center in Carmel.

The course is incredibly scenic, taking runners through some of the most beautiful scenery in California. The views of the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Lucia Mountains are simply breathtaking.

Also, a sports expo will take place two days before the event at Monterey Conference Center. The expo is free and open to anyone. This is where participants will get their bibs and race shirts.

It is also an excellent opportunity to check out the latest running gear from various vendors and meet other runners.

The expo will also facilitate a race clinic, where you can get some tips from the health and fitness experts.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a complete novice, the Big Sur International Marathon is an event not to be missed!

And if you’re not a runner, don’t worry! There’s plenty to do at the marathon besides running. You can come and watch the race, enjoy the live music and the views.
